PRENATAL & POSTNATAL YOGA
What is it?
Pregnancy is a fundamental moment in the life of every woman and family. These nine months bring profound transformations that impact not only the woman herself but also her entire circle. Yoga accompanies these physical and emotional changes during these nine months and beyond.
Women who have a regular practice during their pregnancy, ideally before, are much better able to manage their stress during the nine months, during childbirth, and throughout the postnatal period.
Prenatal and postnatal yoga holds a special place in my teaching, offering pregnant women and new mothers an adapted and caring practice. These classes are an ideal way for women at these crucial stages of their lives to deeply connect with their bodies, strengthen their bond with their baby, and experience fulfilled motherhood.
In my prenatal yoga classes, I guide expectant mothers through a safe and comforting practice tailored to each trimester of pregnancy. The postures are carefully chosen to relieve common pregnancy discomforts, such as lower back pain, while also strengthening the muscles useful for childbirth. Breathing and relaxation are key aspects of these classes, helping pregnant women manage stress and prepare mentally and physically for labor and delivery.
After birth, my postnatal yoga classes offer gentle and gradual support to help new mothers regain their strength and physical fitness. By focusing on specific exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, these sessions assist in a gentle postpartum recovery. Additionally, they provide a precious moment of connection with other mothers, sharing experiences and mutual support.
Prenatal and postnatal yoga is also an opportunity for women to take a moment for themselves, to recharge and refocus. My classes offer a space of peace and relaxation, where each woman can listen to her body and respond to its unique needs during this transformative period.
Join my prenatal and postnatal yoga classes to experience an enriching journey, prepare for motherhood with confidence, and take care of yourself before and after your baby arrives. It’s an invitation to celebrate your maternity journey in a welcoming and empathetic environment.
